went out and found we lost Ethel and Lucy...not sure what happened but one was dead and the other mauled

Other two freaked it and combs messed

More tomatoes and cleaning the pantry

Cleaned out the pantry...mostly leaving pickles, spreads, tomatoes and some jams.

Went to larrys on Friday and bought 2 cases of $5 tomatoes. Started up all 4 crock pots last night and 3 more today. 9 pints and 3 1/2 pints of plain sauce...will do pizza tomorrow

Canning tomatoes

picked up tomatoes at larrys and more from foodmaxx last week. Larrys 89 a pound and foodmaxx 49 per pound. Made sauce like crazy last week and canned it today. Made 16pints of sauce and 1 pint and 14 1/2 pints of pizza sauce. A little spicy but ok

Stock craze

made 5 pots of stock today...canned 3 batches for about 25 1/2 pints.  About 5 from the first batch didn't seal. 1 batch left I the fridge for tomorrow. Ran out of pint jars
